My home is dreadful before I get my first dehumidifier. My area is suffering from mold. It is obvious that something is not right with my home. One feels terrible when the humidity level is forty percent or higher. My friends always ask me why I do not have a dehumidifier. I always tell them the same thing. I do not know why I need one.
